Dear reader, this is how Handrail (“we,” “us”), the operator of handrailmedicare.online, handles information about you. It is written to be read, not skimmed past. Handrail is a private company. We are not the government, we are not an insurer, and we are not a Medicare plan.

What we collect

When you use the quote or contact form that appears on our site, we receive what you enter: typically your name, ZIP code, date of birth or age range, phone number, email address, and answers about the kind of help you want. Please do not enter your Medicare number, Social Security number, bank details or detailed medical information.
The guided questions on our home page run in your browser. Your choices there are not saved, sent to us, or shared.

Like most websites, we and our service providers may collect your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring page and approximate location. We may use cookies and similar technologies to do this.

Sharing with partners and marketers

If you submit a request, we may share your details with licensed insurance agents, agencies and other independent partner organizations, including those listed on our partners page, so that they can contact you about Medicare-related products and services. These partners handle information under their own privacy practices.
We also use service providers such as hosting, analytics and form-technology vendors, who may process information on our behalf. We do not sell your information in exchange for money, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising without offering you the choices described below.
Consent to be contacted

By submitting a form that includes a consent statement, you agree that Handrail and the licensed agents or partners who receive your request may contact you by telephone, text message and email, including with autodialed or prerecorded calls or texts, at the number and address you provide, even if the number is on a national or state Do Not Call list. Message and data rates may apply. Consent is not a condition of any purchase, and you may revoke it at any time.
To stop calls or texts, tell the caller, reply STOP to a text, or email privacy@handrailmedicare.online.
Cookies

Cookies help the site work and help us understand how it is used. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though parts of the site may then work less well. If a browser sends a “Do Not Track” or Global Privacy Control signal, we will treat it as an opt-out of sale or sharing where the law requires.

California and other state privacy rights

An authorized agent may submit a request for you with written permission.

Security and retention
